Collaboration with international foundations and organizations

There are agreements on cooperation in the field of higher education and research with:

• Tomsk State University (2008-2013),

• Novosibirsk State University (2009-2013),

• International Alliance for Innovation, Technology and Education - Houston, Texas, USA - (the International Alliance for Innovation, Technology and Education headquartered in Houston, TX, the United States) (2012-2015).

• Collaboration with the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Novosibirsk State University" (Russia, Novosibirsk), Pennsylvania State University.

In 2015, Professor, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Yeshkeev Aybat Rafhatovich became a member of the International Association for Symbolic Logic (ASL), which is the largest American organization of modern logicians.

In 2012, a Memorandum of Understanding to mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of Education and Science was signed by the Chair of Applied Mathematics and Informatics of the Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov (represented by prof. Kazhikenova S.Sh.) and the School of Social and Family Dynamics, Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona, USA.

Improvement of professional skill abroad

Docent E.A. Spirina, Docent N.A. Antonova, senior teacher M.A. Smirnova (at the expense of KarSU) have been training for distance learning at the Tomsk State University (06.12.2011-10.02.2012) on the program "Development of electronic educational resources".

March 2, 2016 Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Chair of Algebra, Mathematical Logic and Geometry. T.G. Mustafina Yeshkeev Aibat Rafhatovich was awarded a letter of gratitude from the British Council at the British Embassy for help in organizing and holding the conference «Approaches to Teaching Content trough English: Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)».


Teachers of the chair are able to receive counseling on their research topics from the leading foreign researchers. Thus, a scientific consultant of docent Bukenov M.M. is D.pf.-m.sc., Prof. Konovalov M.A., staff member of the Institute of Mathematics S.L. Sobolev, Russian Academy of Sciences.

Professor S.Sh. Kazhikenova for sharing the results of scientific research and participation in the scientific conference has traveled to Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), 14.05-22.05.2012.

Professor S.Sh. Kazhikenova is a member of the Advisory Board of the International Alliance for Innovation, Technology and Education (USA).

Participation in competitive projects and grants, including by young scientists

prof. Kazhikenova S.Sh. - Winner of grants:

• Programme of fundamental research for 2012-2014. the theme “Development of information and computing technologies for expert assessment of technological perfection of production schemes of mining and metallurgical processing of raw» (№ 1301-M-12).

• Programme of fundamental research for 2012-2014. on "Fundamental characteristics of process reliability as a the basis to achieve required quality of products in the field of non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy" (№ 1302-M-12).

Scientific directions of Faculty

Research projects prof. S.Sh. Kazhikenova related to the study of new technologies and the development of advanced materials for various functional purpose.

Among the research there are 2 fundamental scientific research. Research funding is carried out at the expense of the Ministry of Education and Science under the "Grant funding for research":

• in 2012-2014. the theme № 301-M-12 "Development of information and computing technologies for expert assessment of technological perfection of production schemes of mining and metallurgical processing of raw." Head: S.Sh. Kazhikenova.

• in 2012-2014: the theme № 302-M-12 "Fundamental characteristics of process reliability as a the basis to achieve required quality of products in the field of non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy." Head: S.Sh. Kazhikenova.

In 2012, six scientific Publications by themes of research was released.

C.Ph.-m.sc. docent D.B. Alibiev is the head of the initiative theme in the fields of applied research of mathematical faculty, 2011-2015. on theme "Mathematical modeling of the equations of motion of the rolling stock in view the relief terrain and weather conditions."

Research Project is an initiative it launched in 2006. Customer - JSC "Kazakhstan Temir Joly". Co- Leader of theme is D.Ph.-m.sc., Prof. KBTU Ryspaev B.

Work is carried out on this subject, the results are discussed and published. As part of the project 5 scientific articles totaling 1.5 pp are published. Assigned tasks are solved in full. SRW theme is closed.

On the basis of Laboratory "Mathematical logic" RSE Institute of Applied Mathematics KH MES RK fundamental project is developed, which is funded by the MES: "Structural properties of positive Jonsson theories and their classes of existentially closed models" (Reg. No. 01129K02755 (02.03.2012). The scientific adviser - doctor of physico-mathematical sciences, professor Yeshkeyev A.R.).

From 24.09.2017 to 08.10.2017 Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of AMLiG Yeshkeev Aybat Rafhatovich exchanged his scientific experience with colleagues from the Camille Jordan Institute at the University of Lyon-1 and held a scientific seminar on model theory at the University of Claude Bernard (Lyon-1) in France.

From August 14, 2017 to August 20, 2017 Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of AMLiG Yeshkeev Aybat Rafhatovich participated in the Logical Colloquium 2017 in Stockholm in Sweden.

From 19.04.2017 to 10.05.2017 for guest students and undergraduates were held guest lectures by Professor Lyons University Bruno Poizat (France). He also held scientific seminars for doctoral students and teachers of the department.

From 19.03.2017 to 25.03.2017 Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of AMLiG Yeshkeev Aybat Rafhatovich made a presentationof the report with title "The properties of Jonsson theories and their models" at the algebraic seminar of the department "Algebra" of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the University of Karlov in Prague in The Czech Republic.
